Export Projects from the Free to the Pro Version of Stop Motion Studio

Congratulations on getting the Pro version of Stop Motion Studio!

Transfer a Single Project:

  1. Open the Project Browser:
    • Tap Library at the top of the screen. If you don’t see Library, tap the back arrow until it appears.
  2. Select the Project:
    • Scroll through the projects, then tap one to see project details.
  3. Share the Project:
    • In the project details screen, tap the share symbol.
    • Choose Project.
    • Tap the Pro version of the app. If you don’t see the Pro version, select More and find it there.
  4. Import into Pro Version:
    • After the export is finished, the Pro version will start and import the project.

Transfer All Projects:

For iPad, iPhone, or iPod Users:

  1. Open the Files App:
    • Available in iOS 11 or later.
    • Open the Files app on your device.
  2. Enable Stop Motion Studio:
    • If you don’t see Stop Motion Studio, tap Locations > Edit.
    • Slide to turn on Stop Motion Studio.
    • Tap Done.
  3. Access Project Files:
    • Tap the Stop Motion Studio location to see all your project files.

For Android Users:

  1. Open a File Explorer App:
    • Use a file explorer app on your device.
  2. Navigate to Data Folder:
    • Go to Android > Data folder.
  3. Move Project Files:
    • Move all project files from the data folder com.cateater.stopmotionstudio to com.cateater.stopmotionstudiopro.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly transfer your projects from the Free version to the Pro version of Stop Motion Studio.
