Selecting Export Type and Format

Stop Motion Studio offers a diverse range of export options tailored to your specific needs:

• Movie: Export your animation as a video file in either MP4 or MOV format. Choose between H.264 and H.265 (HEVC) encoding based on your preferences for compatibility and file size efficiency. MP4 is a highly compatible format supported by most devices, video players, and streaming platforms. MOV is a native format for macOS and is well-suited for Apple devices and software. When choosing between H.264 and H.265 (HEVC), consider the following: Select H.264 for broad compatibility and general-purpose use, while H.265 is preferred for scenarios where efficient compression and reduced file sizes are critical, as long as you confirm compatibility with your intended playback devices and software.

• Project: Save, export, or backup your project for further editing. Transfer your project to another device to continue working on it.

• GIF: Create a looping animation in GIF format, ideal for sharing short animations online.

• Image Sequence: Export your animation as a sequence of individual image frames, suitable for further editing in other software.

• Flip Book: Print each frame to create a traditional flip book, offering a unique and tangible viewing experience.
